Coaching Session Description
Each one hour session takes place online through video chat software like Skype, Zoom or FaceTime. While face to face, we will be co-working in shared documents to create and move through action items that align with your art career goals. Sessions are focused on building, expanding and sustaining your art income.
Coaching sessions are FUN because we watch your dreams take shape. We will diminish anxiety about your career by helping you feel in control of your future. The mood is exciting, but relaxed and filled with enthusiasm and joy for your unique path to success.
Our first session will be spent working together to identify your goals and what success means to you. We will analyze your past and current art career and determine your goals for the future. We will assess your current situation and define timelines for your goals that feel comfortable to you. We will go at your pace, set each week by you. We will co-create action items that move you towards your goals and map your unique path to success. You will leave your first session with a document containing your goals and the next steps to get there.
Further coaching sessions will focus on supporting you through these action items. Sessions begin by discussing the successes and misses since the last session. We then move into unlocking any stalled action items together such as an upcoming application or generating new sales leads. We will talk through whatever is shaking your confidence so you can focus on achieving your goals. We will make room for new goals and opportunities as they arise and dissect them into actionable steps so you can grow at your pace.
My code is to support you. I promise to be honest always and provide you with whatever contact, connection, anecdote or knowledge I can give. I will share your joys and excitement when things go great and build you up on times things don't go as planned. During our sessions you have my undivided attention. I prepare for sessions by reviewing our notes so that I can be totally focussed with you for our time together. I will only take on clients that I believe in and know I can help succeed. Your success is my success.
Frequency of sessions is determined by you. I recommend beginning with weekly sessions to capture the focus and productivity that coaching ignites. After 2-4 weeks of weekly sessions, every other week begins to be more productive as to give you time to complete your action items before generating more work. After several months of coaching, you will be able to generate your own action items and find a flow to your income that no longer necessitates coaching. However, many artists find continued coaching valuable throughout their careers to keep them focused and on track. !0 sessions is recommended to help you transition to your next level of success.
